visibl.me is a service that makes public Telegram channel content discoverable through search engines. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

What data we collect

Public Telegram content

We index publicly available content from Telegram channels that channel owners have submitted to our service. This includes:

  • Post text and media from public channels
  • Public comments on posts
  • Channel names, descriptions, and avatars

This content is already publicly accessible on Telegram. We do not access private channels or direct messages.

Channel owner data

When you add your channel to visibl.me, we store:

  • Your Telegram user ID (for authentication)
  • Your Telegram username and display name

Analytics data

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This may include:

  • Pages visited
  • Browser type and device
  • Country (not precise location)
  • Referral source

This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

How we use cookies

We use minimal cookies for:

  • Remembering your cookie consent preference
  • Remembering your theme preference (light/dark mode)
  • Analytics (if you accept cookies)

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We may share data with:

  • Vercel (hosting and analytics)
  • Search engines (for indexing public content)

Your rights

  • Request removal of your channel from our service
  • Access the data we have about you
  • Request deletion of your account data

Content removal

If you are a channel owner and want your content removed:

  • Remove the channel through your dashboard
  • Or contact us at hi@visbl.me

When content is deleted on Telegram, we automatically remove it from our service during our regular sync process.

Data retention

We retain indexed content as long as it remains public on Telegram and the channel owner has not requested removal. Account data is retained until you request deletion.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and secure authentication.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on our site.
